Monday's Meeting
Please make time to attend our monthly meeting this Monday, March 10, at the Barnes and Noble, San Pedro Crossing at 7:30 p.m. As usual, the meeting is free and open to the public--invite everyone you know to attend!
This meeting will feature Jacqueline Mendez, who will be speaking on the following topics: Finding you inner Muse; Reject Rejections; and Resources for Writers. She will also be reading to us from her recently published work.
Also on tap to appear at the meeting and speak to us is one of San Antonio's most active promoters of poetry: Josie Mixon! Josie is also a strong advocate for Women's rights and social issues, and she will spend a few minutes speaking to us about poetry, specifically The Poet Magazine.
Don't forget, next month's meeting is our much anticipated "Cinco Minutos with You!" I'm looking for 10 members to read up to 5 minutes (five minutes max, please!) of their work in progress. Email and let me know if you would like to participate.
