SLHW 9th Anniversary

The following message is from Ruben Soto, President Emeritus of the Society of Latino and Hispanic Writers of San Antonio Dear Society Members and Friends, I can't believe it's been 9 years since we held our first meeting in this Barnes and Noble. I had a dream - a dream to help Latino writers with their writing careers and to help them get published. I think the Society has accomplished this dream of mine since many of you have improved your writing and learned more about the industry. And some of you fulfilled your dream of publishing a book. All of this makes me extremely proud. I myself am writing the book on the history of Univision and it will be traditionally published and I wouldn't have achieved this if it wasn't for my involvement with the Society. Thanks to all of you who came out tonight to celebrate and I'm thankful to Lupe Gonzalez and Bertha Jacobson for keeping the Society going forward. And as Vince Bosquez says " keep writing"! Happy Anniversary to the Society of Latino and Hispanic Writers!!! Ruben From Miami to my beloved friends in San Antonio

Water

Authored by Chris Flores
Edition: 1

Ian Branch is a worldwide bestselling author that has achieved such heights that no author has ever achieved. But behind the successful author is an unassuming CEO of BlackStone Corp, a worldwide company that is the most powerful and richest company in the world. While he has everything that many would sacrifice for, Ian would sacrifice all to move past this period in his life in which his words are caged and his heart is a barren wasteland. It's at this time, when a young woman, Sky Pinnacle, and her husband Todd Pinnacle, come to live across the lake from Ian. Todd, who is an up and coming architect, devotes all his time and effort to his expanding and successful company, while continuing to let Sky know that their marriage comes second to his company. Isolated and alone, Sky develops a friendship with Ian, and what follows is a bond in which each other's weakness' turns out to be their greatest strength's. From this strength comes a relationship in which the affection and wanting for one another begins. Each try to curb their emotions for one another, but it is becoming harder and harder to ignore. An emotional storm is about to hit. One will fall into the utter depths, while the other will choose... to look away.
