Juanita Ulloa: CD Release Concert

Join the nation's leading bilingual singer-songwriter, JUANITA ULLOA, appearing with Juan Ortiz, Director of the Texas top Mariachi Campanas de America, Palo Alto College mariachi instructor, and CD arranger in a CD release concert of CANTA MI SON! (Sing my song!) on Sunday, March 29 at 1:30 p.m. at Bethany Congregational Church, 500 Pilgrim Street in San Antonio. The children who recorded on the CD will perform as well.

Tickets are by donation.

Juanita celebrates her fifth CD of the prize winning bilingual series for kids entitled CANTA CONMIGO (Sing with me) to help encourage bilingualism in children. The new CD has already won a Disney iParenting Media Award. The new Cd is the world's first ever mariachi CD for kids.

Ulloa is a Professor of Music at Texas State Unviersity and Northwest Vista College (One of the Alamo Community Colleges) and also has CDs honoring the contributions of women to Mariachi & Mexican music. www.juanitamusic.com, www.juanitacantaconmigo.com.

John Lopez, also Professor of Music at Texas State is the producer of the CD.
