Estilo Trino
From Bihl Haus Arts:
Join us on Friday, Sept. 25, 6:30-9:00 pm, for ESTILO TRINO, A Commemorative Reading in the Spirit of Trinidad Sanchez Jr. (1943-2006). Trino had a profound effect on all he met, both young and old, with a voice that spoke across generations, racial and cultural lines, and economic divides. The poet/warrior Trino is known for such works as “Why Am I So Brown?” and” Let Us Stop The Madness,” while his humorous works could bring the house down in uproarious laughter. “Estilo Trino” features Andrea Greimel, Ramon Vasquez, and Santiago Garcia, three poets mentored by Trino, with members of the Jazz & Poet Society, plus an open-mic segment for those interested in sharing their spoken word in the spirit of Trino.
