May brings two exciting celebrations: Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day. We will be celebrating both of these cherished events and ask you to join us.

First May Celebration: Cinco de Mayo

Location: Granados Adult and Senior Center, 500 Freling

Description: although it's on May 6th, please come and participate in one our most important heritage days Bring your favorite Freedom poetry and participate in this event

Second May Celebration: Mother's Day
Date: May 7, 2010
Time: 6:00 - 9:00 pm
Location: C4 Work Space Art Gallery, 108 King William
Hosts: Jesus Moron and Pancho Mendoza
Description: Come observe imagery that will evoke memories of your childhood and Mother created by artist Jesus Moron. Pancho will be hosting an open mike so bring your favorite poems and recite at this event.
Admission: Free with free food and drinks.
