It's December and our last Awaken the Sleeping Poet for the year. It's our annual open mic. We've had a good turn out the last two years, and I hope we do it again this year.
Since it's open mic for two hours, you can bring several poems to share. It's your opportunity to get some serious face time and some mic time that you otherwise would not get.
And it's the perfect time to bring a friend and introduce them to poetry. That's what Awaken the Sleeping Poet is all about.
