From Bihl Haus Arts

Oh my goodness!  Wait until you see what's happening at Bihl Haus Arts! Artwork for the On & Off Fred exhibit began arriving in the gallery Monday night and it continued to pour in through Wednesday. We always know that this is going to be a terrific show--but we're totally blown away by the quality and variety of this year's exhibit.  Paintings of all styles and subject matter, jewelry, ceramics, photography, mixed media, fiberworks, sculpture . . .   And that's just the tip of the 'berg, as there's more--lots and lots and lots more--to see and enjoy in artists' studios on the 5th Annual ON & OFF FREDERICKSBURG ROAD STUDIO TOUR!

So please plan to join us Friday, Feb. 17th (6-9 pm) for the On & Off Fred Autograph Party and Opening Reception at Bihl Haus, with music by Los Nahuatlatos.  Then take the tour on Saturday, February 18th (11 am-5 pm) and/or Sunday, February 19th (noon-5 pm) and stay in the 'hood into the evenings for an outdoor concert--there'll be dancin' in the streets!--by South Texas Jazz on Saturday night (bring a picnic or purchase award-winning tacos from Chelas Taco Truck) and the closing reception on Sunday at Long Hall Gallery. Please click here for a full schedule.

To take the tour all you need is the fully illustrated, color-coded catalog and map, which includes admission for 2 to all of these events.  Save $5 by buying it in advance ($10 now/$15 during the tour) at these area businesses: BIG GRASS637 W.
