Beginning Poetry Workshops:
August 11 and 13 (Tuesday & Thursday), 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Those who love poetry, write it, want to hone and craft it and take it to the next level. Those who have written but not yet published significantly in literary journals but would like to strengthen and fortify their work and who would like to begin publishing regualry in journals, literary magazines and anthologies.

Intermediate Poetry Workshops:
August 18 and 20 (Tuesday & Thursday), 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Those who have been studying poetry at some level and who hold BAs in Creative Writing or MFAs or who have recently (within the last few years) completed a few collegiate creative writing courses or who have studied independently with published poets and/or in poetry workshops with poets; some may have had some success in publishing in literary magazines or feel their work is at the point or close to the point where it could be considered by literary magazines/journals.

Advanced Poetry Workshops:
August 25 and 27 (Tuesday & Thursday), 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Those who have published significantly in literary journals and magazines who want a community of poets as objective eyes to the work-at-hand. Those who have had success in having presses publish their chapbooks or who have formed or are interested in moving forward to form a collection of poetry, or those who have won awards for single poems or a series of poems. Those who have had presses publish their full-length collections, as well, may also be interested in sharing and receiving feedback on new work-in-progress. This is not so much a publishing or compilation workshop, but a poetry workshop of poets who are “thinking” about a chapbook or a book and who are interested in hearing what other poets, at the same place in their writing process, feel about or respond to the work.

Private poetry and prose consultations available with hourly rates ranging from $75 – $125 an hour, sliding scale depending on the work-at-hand.

Various students and/or manuscript/publishing clients have gone on to win significant literary awards and/or have achieved publishing success in journals, anthologies, and/or have secured a publisher.
