Monday's Meeting

Just a reminder that the next meeting of the Society of Latino and Hispanic Writers of San Antonio will be on Monday, January 11 at the Barnes and Noble, San Pedro Crossing, beginning at 7:30 p.m. This month's featured artist is Ana Maria Quevedo, who recently published a Spanish book entitled, Nos Vemos en Purgatorio. While Ana is a Spanish writer, her presentation will be in English (at least most of it!).

As an added bonus, our President Emeritus, Ruben Soto, will be at the meeting! Ruben has moved back to San Antonio after being away 4 years and I ask everyone to please join me Monday night and welcome him back home--to San Antonio and the Society. Ruben, some of you know, founded the Society in July 2004 in order to help Latinos and Hispanics accomplish their dreams of getting published, and I'm proud to say his dream and Society, is still going strong today!
