Revolucion at PAC



You and your students are cordially invited to attend the film premier, art exhibit and launch of an historic, multi-disciplinary project, Revolucion! This free event will be held in the PAC Performing Arts Center, Thursday, Jan. 21, and is free and open to the public.

This is the first event of the year, city-wide, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 1910 Mexican Revolution!

Art Exhibit and Reception:
“The Mexican Revolution’s Influence on the Faces of Tejanos” - Paintings by Kathy and Lionel Sosa. Kathy and Lionel Sosa will speak for a few minutes on an upcoming project they are working on:
Kathy--a multi-disciplinary project involving scholars, authors and artists to talk about Revolutionary Women. Lionel--Working on a book that will tell the story of how our city's history was changed by the waves of immigrants who came here to escape the Revolution of 1910.

Film Premiere
of the documentary by Arizona State University - “The Mexican Revolution of 1910 - Its Cultural Legacy in North America.”
