Monday's Meeting

Fellow Writer,

Just a small, pleasent reminder that the next meeting of the Society of Latino and Hispanic Writers of San Antonio will be at the Barnes and Noble, San Pedro Crossing on Monday, Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m. This month's guest speaker is Jose Antonio Lopez, author of "The Last Knight (Don Bernardo Gutierrez de Lara Uribe, A Texas Hero)" and "Nights of Wailing, Days of Pain (Life in 1920s South Texas)."

Tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 9, Dr. Rafael Castillo will do a book signing at Barnes and Noble, La Cantera, along with a presentation, on his book "Aurora." Dr. Castillo was our guest speaker last month and he did a wonderful job with his presentation.
