Featured Reader: Valerie Bailey

Valerie has just returned from the National Federation Of State Poetry Societies (NFSPS)
National Convention. She returned home with a First Place, a Second Place, and
Four Honorable Mentions. She will be reading her winning poems and explaining
some of how NFSPS works. When you take first place and there were over four
hundred submissions to that contest, taking first place is a huge deal. And, as
Valerie puts it, when there are those kinds of submissions, even an honorable
mention is a big deal at the national level. Come listen to her award winning poems and some of
her adventures at the NFSPS Convention.
