The San Antonio chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI-SWTX) is having their fall conference on Saturday, September 17, 2011. This is a full-day event with two editors from HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster, and a great agent. We also have award-winning author Diane Gonzales Bertrand with an encouraging keynote address and a writing workshop. We’ll explore new horizons in digital media and online marketing during our break-out sessions. Our event features professional critiques from our faculty, a First-Pages Panel, a portfolio/book display and more! Space is limited, so don’t miss out! Deadline to register is July 17.
